LinkedIn Company Page

Finally, LinkedIn allows Page admins to invite their contacts to follow their Company Page or any other Pages they manage.

As we’ve had for years with this, it’s hard to achieve organic exposure and viral content for your posts on Company Pages – Facebook lets you invite your friends to like or follow your Page. Fortunately, it has now come together.

A step-by-step guide to getting more followers and inviting your LinkedIn connections to like/follow your company page.

Invite Connections to Like LinkedIn Company Page

Step 1: Log in to LinkedIn on the Desktop

On a laptop or desktop, go to www.linkedin.com and log in to your account using your username and password.

Step 2: Navigate to your Company page

Search for your company page in the top search bar – if it doesn’t appear or you can’t find it, on the desktop, click the ‘Me’ icon at the top right of your screen.

*Note, if you can’t see your company page or you’re not an admin, see this article or contact Linkedin for help.

Step 3: Select ‘Admin tools’ and choose ‘Invite Connections’

On the right-hand side, you will be presented with a new ‘Administrative Tools’ section. Click here to see more options.

*Note, if you cannot see this menu item, your account may not have been updated to include this new feature yet. Check back in a few days – LinkedIn is slowly rolling out this feature across accounts.

Step 4: Choose contacts you wish to invite

You will now be presented with a list of all your contacts who are currently unfollowing your page. Select each person you want to invite (up to 100 people per month per company page – we recommend setting a small reminder each morning to invite 100 more people for faster results).

The search bar at the top also lets you search for specific people – useful if you have a large number of connections and want to invite specific people.

Each of them will receive a notification letting them know you’ve invited them to follow your Page. If they accept, they become followers!

Step 5: Click ‘Invite Connections’

That’s it, you’re done! You can set a reminder to do this every few months. This will help you ensure that any new Linkedin connections are asked to follow your company page.
