Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan Andhra Pradesh
Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan is an initiative to make India self-reliant and self-motivated in transforming the nation from a state Developing to a Developed. Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan started its activity in Andhra Pradesh in August 2022 at Vijayawada. The volunteers and mentors have conducted various programs at educational institutions to spread awareness of Swavalamban, I.e., developing Entrepreneurship and Self Empowerment. The primary focus of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan is to address the long-standing issue of National unemployment. The primary root cause of unemployment is being critically analyzed, and economists claim that India, an agricultural economy, cannot balance technological innovation and the traditional culture of livelihood. India, a wealthy country in the early 1900s, has slowed down due to changes in mindset, family structure, and exposure to urbanization and industrialization. There used to be a system where the family used to do their family-adopted activity. The whole family used to work together as an industry and were owners by themselves. There used to be a system where villagers used to do farming, marketing, and all allied activities together. After independence, the mind completely changed, and people’s mindset was re-wired during the British regime that being an employee under someone in the situation demanded the benefit of British rulers. The DNA has slowly modified that being an employee is the only respectable way to live in society. Micro Families, Urbanization, and migration to bigger towns and cities for work made the generations live a restricted life.
There has to be some mechanism to change this mindset and roll back our lives where the family structure and culture have a strong bonding adding strength to the economy. Vocal For Local, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and Make in India are initiatives by the Central Government of India to encourage Entrepreneurship and self-empowerment. We have to focus on wealth generation by focusing on local product or service development to market globally, which in turn helps make Rupee stronger with more exports. As part of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan – Zilla Rojgar Srijan Kendra’s being established in every district of India to guide local youth on opportunities, government schemes, and project guidance. On 29th and 30th April 2023, a state-level program is being conducted to advise all the karyakarthas from 20 districts of Andhra Pradesh at Swarna Bharat Trust, Vijayawada. Honorable Shri. Muppavarapu Venkayya Naidu, Ex-Vice President of – the Government of India, will inaugurate this program by giving his valuable message to the youth.
